Grace Jones Night Clubbing
Grace Jones Night Clubbing
As a huge fan of iconic artist Keith Haring, I reimagined what it would be like if he had designed the artwork for some of the most influential albums ever made, Keiths 12 inch collection was born!
Nightclubbing (1981) is Grace Jones' fifth studio album and one of her most influential works, blending reggae, new wave, funk, and post-disco. Produced by Island Records’ Chris Blackwell and Alex Sadkin, it features a slick, experimental sound that highlights Jones' distinctive contralto voice. The album includes iconic tracks like "Pull Up to the Bumper," "Walking in the Rain," and a cover of Iggy Pop's "Nightclubbing." Known for its edgy fusion of genres and bold visual aesthetics, Nightclubbing cemented Jones' status as a boundary-pushing artist and has since become a cult classic, influencing music, fashion, and pop culture.
