Prince Parade
As a huge fan of iconic artist Keith Haring, I reimagined what it would be like if he had designed the artwork for some of the most influential albums ever made, Keiths 12 inch collection was born!
Parade, released in 1986, is Prince and The Revolution’s eighth studio album and serves as the soundtrack for the film Under the Cherry Moon. Known for its eclectic style, Parade mixes pop, jazz, funk, and orchestral elements, creating a vibrant, cinematic experience. The album includes iconic tracks like "Kiss," a minimalist funk classic that became one of Prince’s biggest hits. Parade showcases Prince’s creative range, blending lush orchestration with stripped-down funk and whimsical lyrics. The album’s innovative production and bold genre fusion mark it as a high point in Prince's discography, highlighting his ability to push musical boundaries.
